Explore the landscape sketches of Victor Hugo (Les Miserables, Hunchback of Notre Dame) recently featured in an exhibition at London’s Royal Academy of Art, “Astonishing Things,” We’ll simulate Hugo’s free style approach, working on toned papers in graphite, charcoals, sepia (coffee) wash and acrylics.
