A FREE EVENT FOR ARTISTS and COMMUNITY ARTS + CRAFTERS hosted by Zane Grey Gallery at Narrowsburg Union: 7 Erie Avenue, Suite 105A in Narrowsburg NY.

How it Works.

  • AT ART SWAP you can trade in a 1:1 exchange new or gently used art supplies. At our check-in desk, register to receive ONE TICKET for each donated item (multiples must be in see-through baggies) to exchange for another donated item of your choice at checkout. We want to be fair and make sure everyone who donates receives goods-in-kind. Register to Attend Art Swap with form below.

  • FRIDAY ARTISTS MEET ‘N SWAP:
    On arrival, please sign-in at our check-in table to drop off items and receive a ticket to EXCHANGE GOODS WITH ANOTHER ARTIST.

  • SATURDAY COMMUNITY ARTS + CRAFTS:
    Pre-event drop-off begins at NOON. When you arrive, sign-in at our check-in table to receive ONE EXCHANGE TICKET PER ITEM DONATED. We’ll organize by type of materials. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Who is the target audience for this event? Emerging and established artists, creative souls, crafters and artistic dabblers. 

  • Can I attend the swap if I don’t bring anything to swap?
    No. The event is a 1:1 EXCHANGE of donated goods.

  • Is there a charge? The event is free to attend for all participating donors. Leftover items will be donated or recycled.

  • We reserve the right to reject unusable items that do not meet donations criteria.

Wanted: Artists’ Supplies

  • BOOKS or Magazines for reference

  • PAPERS: Sketchbooks, drawing pads, notebooks and stationery (NOTHING LOOSE is accepted)

  • CANVAS: rolls, stretched canvases or canvas panels

  • FRAMES AND mats

  • PAINT BRUSHES:

  • PAINT: Tubes or Bottles (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, etc.)

  • EASELS in fair to good condition

  • DRAWING TOOLS: pencils, pens, conte, charcoal, pastels, markers, etc.

  • TOOLS: Hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, bolts, nails etc.

  • ADHESIVES OR FIXATIVES: tape, glue, PVC, polymers, etc.

Eligible: Arts + Crafts Supplies

  • BAGGED: General: pompoms, glitter, pipe cleaners

  • BAGGED: Textiles (yarn, felt, fabric)

  • Sewing materials (needles, thread, embroidery looms, buttons)

  • BAGGED: Jewelry making tools and supplies

  • BAGGED: Stringing & beading: beads, fishing line, thread

  • Paper (stationary, homemade paper, origami)

Non-Eligible Supplies

  • Broken, crusty or dried out materials

  • Massive objects that won’t fit in a sedan

  • Gallons of Paint

  • Computers, printers, cameras, A/V equipment, other electronics

  • Lumber, wood or random loose boards
