AFTERNOON OPEN STUDIO:
1 PM to 3:30 PM, (2.5 hrs, $25.00)
All sessions held at Narrowsburg Union, 7 Erie Ave, Narrowsburg, NY 12764 (MAP)

Work independently or with guidance in the medium of your choice: Pastel, Oil, Acrylic or Watercolor. We’ll vary the subject matter session-to-session and season-by-season. Still Life, Landscape or Figurative.

• STILL LIFE SKETCH: The studio may have one or two still life setups to choose from. We’ll follow a classical approach with compositional sketch and color key our palette and paint alla prima or “Impressionist style.
  LIVESTREAM OPTION: Single camera on the still life and a second camera on my canvas/process.

• LANDSCAPES: Work Plein AIr or from photo references in the studio. Our studio location on the Delaware River has private, scenic waterfront with waterfalls, old timber growth and boulders just steps from the studio.

• ZORN 4-COLOR LIMITED PALETTE: 2-HOURS (supply list available)
  Explore a classic yet simple approach to color mixing that will push your use of color using fewer paints or “ limited palette” consisting of: yellow ochre, ivory black, vermilion and lead white. LEARN MORE

• NARROWSBURG STUDIO FACILITIES:
  Large classroom with media screen, desks and chairs, wash up sink and adjacent handicap accessible restrooms.
  Odorless solvents only. No glass containers indoors/outdoors.
  Zane Grey Gallery will have some basic art materials available. Check with us as we grow our inventory.
  Our neighbors at Bridge Street Bakehouse offer delicious fare from savories to sweets, coffee and tea.
