Bring your supplies (see materials list and link to Amazon for purchase). Basic sketch kits available. Registration required. Limited to 10.

We follow NYS COVID-19 Guidelines for public events as guests of CFFCM. Our workshops take place out-of-doors and naturally allow participants to observe safe distancing. Masks are required indoors at CFFCM Museum, Gallery or during group demos.

9AM MEETING PLACE:
After making your turn off Old Route 17, pass over the one-lane bridge towards the CFFCM. There are THREE buildings: Gift Shop, Museum and Wulff Gallery. Follow our signage to the end and park beyond the third building on your left. We’ll meet there and will be short walk to our AM location. We will have access to restroom facilities in the Wulff Gallery or Gift Shop. Masks required indoors.

EXTRAS TO BRING: Folding stool, sturdy walking shoes, pants, bug repellent, sunscreen/hats, water

CANCELLATION POLICIES: Workshop cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund, minus processing fees. Cancellations less than 48 hours are non-refundable

Rain dates will be scheduled no less than two weeks in advance. All dates are subject to change.

Materials List

Any drawing medium or watercolor, inks, charcoal or pastels may be used. Your choice of suggested papers or sketchbook suitable for mixed media. An expanded list of materials is available on: (Amazon)

  • Drawing Pencils: Blick Studio: B, 2B, 4B or another brand

  • Erasers: kneaded and pink gum

  • PaperMate Tuff Stuff eraser pen (medium tip)

  • Mono Zero by Tombow eraser pen ( fine tip)

  • White Pastel or Charcoal pencil (Generals)

  • Pencil sharpener: Faber-Castell Grip Trio Sharpener Arts and Crafts, Multi;

  • Sandpaper block charcoal

  • Drawing board; masonite w/clip or masking tape; Vencer Artist Sketch Tote Board, Studio or Field Use (13"x 17")
