We’ll look at works by Paul Cézanne, from his pencil sketches with subtle notes of color to fully realized compositions for a basic understanding of his process. Working from a Cézanne-inspired still life or reference images, we’ll take you through the stages of mapping a still life sketch in pencil then work to a finish with added color notes to complete a sketch in one session (9 x 12).
Basic Sketch Materials + Studio Setups Provided: Please bring along media you may already use (watercolor, color pencils or pastel) or discover new ones as we introduce additional media each week.
